On Wednesday's Backchat, we're looking into the latest developments in Canadian politics, after the announcement from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that he intends to step down.
Mr Trudeau said he'd be bringing an end to his nine-years in office after the Liberal Party, which he currently leads, has chosen a new head.
The announcement comes as the party faces record low public approval ratings, ahead of federal elections in October this year.
Immigration is expected to be a focal point of the leadership race, along with questions about how Canada should manage its relationship with the United States, with the imminent return of Donald Trump as US president.
